Most memorable kilimanjaro Tour
Upon arrival in Moshi, you will be met by a representative of Dakado Adventures and transferred to your hotel for a pre-hike briefing and gear check.
Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and a transfer to Marangu Gate, the starting point of the Marangu Route. After registration and a briefing, start your hike through the lush rainforest with an experienced guide and porters.
The trail is well-maintained and relatively easy, but the high altitude may make it challenging. After approximately 3-4 hours of hiking, you'll reach the Mandara Hut, your accommodation for the night. The huts are basic but comfortable, with bunk beds and shared bathrooms. Enjoy a hot meal and some rest before exploring the surrounding area or simply relaxing and taking in the views.
After breakfast, continue your hike through the alpine meadows and moorlands towards the Horombo Hut. Along the way, you'll pass by the stunning Maundi Crater and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
The trail becomes steeper and rockier as you approach Horombo, where you'll have lunch and rest before descending back down to Marangu Gate. Congratulations, you have officially completed your Kilimanjaro hike! Receive your certificate and transfer back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
