Most memorable kilimanjaro Tour
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You'll be met by a representative of Dakado Adventures who will transfer you to your hotel for a pre-hike briefing and gear check.
After breakfast, drive to Machame Gate where you'll complete registration and meet your guide and porters. Begin your trek through the lush rainforest and climb up to Machame Camp where you'll spend the night.
After breakfast, hike through the heather and moorland zone to Shira Camp, where you'll enjoy stunning views of Kilimanjaro's western glaciers.
Trek through rocky terrain and up to Lava Tower, a towering rock formation at over 15,000 feet. Descend to Barranco Camp, nestled in a valley below the imposing Barranco Wall.
Hike through the scenic Barranco Valley, cross the Karanga River, and ascend to Karanga Camp. Continue on to Barafu Camp, situated on a ridge overlooking the Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
Today is the summit day! Start your ascent in the middle of the night and climb through the dark to reach Stella Point, where you'll witness a breathtaking sunrise. From there, it's a short trek to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Take in the views before descending back down to Barafu Camp for a quick rest before continuing down to Mweka Camp.
On the final day of your tour, hike through the lush rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you'll receive a certificate for your accomplishment. A representative of Dakado Adventures will transfer you back to Moshi for a celebratory dinner and some well-deserved rest.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home or continue your adventure with a safari or cultural tour with Dakado Adventures.
