On the first day of your Kilimanjaro hiking tour via Lemosho route, you will arrive in Tanzania and be transferred to your hotel in Moshi. You can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery before the start of your adventure.
The second day begins with a drive to the Lemosho Gate where you will complete registration and meet your guides and porters. The hike starts through the rainforest, where you can spot various species of monkeys and birds. You will reach Big Tree Camp, your first overnight stop, and enjoy the stunning view of the surrounding rainforest.
The third day of your Kilimanjaro hike starts with a steep climb through the rainforest to the heath zone. You will enjoy the views of Mount Meru and the Shira Plateau as you hike towards Shira 1 Camp, where you will spend the night.
On the fourth day, you will hike towards Moir Hut, which is situated at an altitude of 4,200 meters. The terrain changes from heath to alpine desert and you will experience a panoramic view of the mountain range.
The fifth day of your hike involves a hike from Moir Hut to Barafu Camp, located at an altitude of 4,600 meters. As you trek along the rocky terrain, you will witness the stunning view of the Lava Tower and the Western Breach. This day will be a preparation for your summit attempt the following day.
The final and most challenging day of your Kilimanjaro hike involves waking up at midnight to start your summit attempt. You will reach Stella Point just in time for the sunrise and make your way to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After taking in the views and capturing memories, you will descend to Mweka Camp for a much-needed rest.
